Frequently Asked Questions
1. How do I display my lyrics?
If you are a publisher, distributor, performing rights organization, or music society, and you would like to license your lyrics to us, please email publisher@lyricfind.com.
If you’re an artist or songwriter who administers the copyright for your lyrics and wishes to monetize your lyrics, we suggest registering with one of our global partners and opting in to our licensing agreement through them. This will allow you to collect royalties generated from the usage of your lyrics on the platforms we power. For a complete list of our partners and how to register, go to Partner Registration.
Artists and songwriters, as well as self-publishers, can also join the Verified Artist Program to retain full control over their lyrics, copyrights and more. Learn more here.
2. I work with a publisher, should I register with LyricFind?
It is important that lyrics are not registered twice with LyricFind. LyricFind has agreements with many CMOs, PROs, all major publishing companies and thousands of independent publishers. It is possible LyricFind is already working with your publisher or administrator. If your lyrics are administered by another party please reach out to publisher@lyricfind.com and let us know who they are to confirm if we have an agreement with them.
3. What is the difference between registering with one of the LyricFind global partners and registering directly with LyricFind?
Registering directly with LyricFind through the Dashboard will not allow you to monetize your lyrics and collect royalties at this time.
To monetize your lyrics, we recommend licensing them through one of our global partners. For a complete list of our partners and how to register, click on Partner Registration.
If for any reason you cannot register through one of our global partners please reach out to publisher@lyricfind.com.
4. What do I do after I have licensed my lyrics to LyricFind?
