Bad Guy Dethrones Old Town Road as Summer's Most Searched Lyrics Globally

“Old Town Road” took the early summer of 2019 by storm - breaking Billboard records and leading LyricFind’s top lyric searches at the end of July. While the most searched for lyrics of the summer in the US belong to "Old Town Road" - by summer’s end, Billie Eilish’s “Bad Guy” swooped in to take the crown globally.

To celebrate the close of summer, LyricFind, the world’s leader in lyric licensing, created an infographic for the world’s most searched for lyrics of the summer. Behind “Bad Guy” is Lewis Capaldi’s “Someone You Loved,” followed by Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road [Remix]” with Billy Ray Cyrus to round out the podium.
